Online Financial Services – Managing Director – Canada

About the Company

Our client is a ground-breaking online lender based in London. It launched its first website in October 2007 and rapidly became one of Europe’s most innovative credit businesses. The firm’s mission is to solve people’s short term and urgent cash flow problems with an equally short term and responsible solution.

Our client is transforming the European credit market by offering small, short term loans online with more speed, convenience and flexibility than banks, high street lenders and other websites. It removes the complexity and inflexibility consumers face whenever they need to borrow some cash in a hurry.

The company is different from other online lenders because our sophisticated risk and decision technology means the application and approval process takes literally minutes. It is the first company in the world to fully automate the lending process and it is able to make completely objective and responsible decisions around the clock. There’s no paperwork, meetings with bank managers or hanging on the phone – the entire service is online and real-time. The firm’s platform is uniquely flexible, allowing applicants to choose exactly how much cash they want to borrow and for how many days they need it.

Our client is well-funded and has received financial backing from some of the most prestigious venture capital firms in Europe and North America. These funds have backed the likes of Facebook, LinkedIn and Salesforce.
