Current Suggestions:

1. Dates on employment. (Duration:10hrs)
2. Board of directors employment with dates. Separate from regular employment and allows for multiple entries and overlaps with full-time employment. (Duration:10 - 15 hrs)
3. Separate fields for home addresses and work addresses. That way we can find people who work in one geography but have residences elsewhere. (Duration: 3hrs)
4. BD function that is event based as opposed to just company based. Should function more like a search.
5. BD could also be divided into general BD and pursuit of opportunities. (Duration: related to 4 - Major Project )
6. The resume search function is currently very odd with an alternate that is the same as our regular search feature (why is that there?)
7. Can we combine the key resume search feature with some other search parameters so that we can narrow a resume search faster.(Duration: related to 7 - 10hrs)

Database Improvements: Please check on Resume Search. Not sure why after returning back to list of candidates after going to a candidate's page the list isn't the same or not in order as the original list.

To avoid double/triple entries of companies, perhaps the "Database" could ask if it one of the companies already entered into the db with the same name... As it does for the contacts based on the last name. (Duration:10hrs)

Database Improvements: When names are entered in the DB with spaces or characters and resumes are attached, the resumes wont open. Would it possible to create a prompt/error message when people enter names with spaces and characters asking them to fix it?

Database Improvements: The ability to see the same person in multiple companies when they hold roles in the parent as well as subsidiaries and to be able to see BD activity for that person under both entities

Database Improvements: If a company and its executives are already in the database and it changes its telephone number it is currently necessary to go and change each executives # manually. It would be more efficient and less time consuming if a change to the company number could automatically result in each executive's number changing.

Database Improvements: I agree with Sal regarding the fix of contact number as per below. But, please do make sure it doesn't over-ride the existing Direct Number we have on the individual ie. extensions or direct number.,

Database Improvements: Regarding the current searches on our website, it would be nice to have a way for applicants to know where the position to be based ie in Toronto or Ottawa or elsewhere.
(Several Consultants have mentioned to keep it vague in order to attract the maximum number of candidates)

Database Improvements: I met someone yesterday who has a company that sells HR databases. They have the ability when receiving an email from someone to click 'save to database' and the system will match up the email to one in the email and save it to the notes section of the database. If there is no matching email, the system will say 'unable to save'. Also, their system pulls in the resume attached to the email over to the database

Database Improvements: The client portal used to allow clients to profile multiple role. Thus, after they profiled their first position, they would see two icons beside the 'view profile' ...there was 'edit' the profile and 'create new' profile. For some reason, when we redid the web site the ability to profile multiple jobs was eliminated....also, we should did into the code of Hirerealm to see if we can figure out how to get some of that functionality proted to the new portal..
Database Improvements: Business development follow up lists., Currently able to view monthly however the entries do not roll over into the following month if they are not completed. Roll forward to the next month or the ability to view the previous month's entries would be useful.
Project search output. Also include the disposition of the search. Ie completed or cancelled or demo. (completed)
On the client portal, we currently include the full description of the company that the person works for, and perhaps we should make that HTML so that if the client is interested in the information on the company that can click on it and a small window pops up. Current the company description takes up a lot of room and makes the document unwieldy.
Contact search put in a logical order. Name, Company, industry, location. Maybe change the name to what it really is “person search” Also add the functionality to search for people and screen their resumes at the same time. For example we would be able to do a search in IT function for someone that has architecture in their resume.
Database Improvements: Client Portal: need the ability for the client to understand the rating system...Is someone rated a 1 better than someone rated a 4??

The system only allows you to fill out that box the first time through the interview summary. Need the ability to change it in the event that you forgot to fill in the box the first time through
